Are Your Excuses for Being Unsatisfied a Bunch of Crap?
Video overview: If you feel trapped by your marriage, your mood, your circumstances, or the version of yourself you’ve become, this one is for you. You may think you’re out of options, but Steve shows you why that’s not true — and why the first real change starts with how you lead yourself.

You can feel very stuck when your relationship is hurting.

You can look around at your life and think, “Is this it? Is this what I worked so hard for? Is this the marriage I’m supposed to tolerate? Is this the version of me I’m supposed to accept?”

I know that feeling.

You’re doing the responsible things. You’re working. You’re paying bills. You’re trying to be a good man. You’re trying to keep the peace, provide, help, fix, explain, apologize, stay patient, and hold everything together.

But inside, you’re pissed off.

You’re tired of feeling ignored. You’re tired of feeling unwanted. You’re tired of walking around with a knot in your stomach wondering what mood she’s going to be in, what you’ve done wrong this time, or whether the whole thing is slowly falling apart.

And the worst part is not always the conflict.

Sometimes the worst part is the helplessness.

It’s the quiet belief that you don’t have any options. You feel boxed in by money, kids, history, fear, guilt, loyalty, shame, confusion, and the hope that maybe if you just keep trying a little harder, something will finally change.

But brother, that helplessness is lying to you.

That doesn’t mean your situation is easy. I’m not going to insult you with some silly positive-thinking speech. Some of you are dealing with serious pain. Some of you are facing divorce. Some of you are living in homes where affection has disappeared, conversation has become cold, and every little thing feels loaded.

But even there, you are not powerless.

This video is about that.

It’s about the moment a man stops believing that his life is something happening to him and starts seeing where he still has choice. Not control over her. Not control over the outcome. Not control over whether she forgives, softens, comes closer, or decides to leave.

Choice over who he is going to be.

That’s where everything starts.

Most men get trained to focus almost entirely on the outside game. Make the money. Keep the house running. Solve the problem. Avoid the fight. Keep everyone else okay. Be useful. Be dependable. Be the man who handles it.

There’s nothing wrong with that.

But if your inside game is weak, all of that outside success starts to feel hollow.

You can be respected at work and feel like a little boy at home. You can be capable, intelligent, successful, and still feel completely lost when your wife is cold, distant, angry, disappointed, or uninterested in you.

That’s not because you’re broken.

It’s because nobody taught you how to stay steady inside yourself when the woman you love doesn’t respond the way you want her to. Nobody taught you how to handle rejection without collapsing. Nobody taught you how to stop making her mood the measurement of your worth as a man.

So you start reacting.

Maybe you chase. Maybe you argue. Maybe you withdraw. Maybe you get sarcastic. Maybe you try to be extra nice and then quietly resent her when it doesn’t work. Maybe you tell yourself you’re being patient, but deep down you’re waiting for her to finally give you the reassurance you crave.

That’s a miserable place to live.

And it’s not leadership.

What I want you to hear in this video is that you can change more than you think. You can change the way you walk into a room. You can change the way you respond to tension. You can change the way you speak the truth. You can change what you tolerate, what you avoid, what you pretend not to know, and what you keep hoping someone else will fix for you.

You can become calmer.

You can become clearer.

You can become stronger emotionally.

And when you do that, your relationship changes because you change the energy you bring into it. You stop needing your wife to make you feel okay before you can act like the man you want to be. You stop waiting for permission to be grounded, loving, honest, bold, and self-respecting.

That doesn’t guarantee she’ll change.

But it does guarantee that you stop living like a powerless man.

This matters right now because the longer you sit in helplessness, the more resentment builds. You start hating your marriage. You start hating her. You start hating yourself. And before long, you’re not creating anything anymore. You’re just surviving the life you say you don’t want.

I don’t want that for you.

You may have a lot more influence than you think, but it won’t come from complaining, explaining, pleading, or waiting. It comes from becoming a man who knows who he is, what he stands for, what he wants, and what he’s willing to do next.

That’s the work.

And you don’t have to do it alone.

You’re Not Out Of Options
